Enterprise Platform
Your data.
Your infrastructure.
Your rules.
MariaDB grounds your AI applications in your own documents and databases through a managed retrieval layer, so you ship accurate, agentic apps faster without building your own retrieval stack.
Full control, without the operational burden
Some workloads need to stay where you can see them: regulated data, strict latency budgets, existing data centers or sovereignty requirements. You choose the infrastructure, the topology and the upgrade schedule. MariaDB provides the engine and the tooling to operate it.
Manage it: MariaDB Enterprise Manager
The native tool for managing all your MariaDB environments
Enterprise Manager brings telemetry from your MariaDB servers, MaxScale instances and GridGain clusters into one centralized interface. Enterprise Manager is a core component of your MariaDB Enterprise subscription, so there’s no additional procurement cycle.

See your whole data tier
A topology view of your database, proxy and in-memory cache helps you quickly tell which layer is behind a slowdown.
Monitor with confidence
Built-in Grafana dashboards and production-ready alerts work out of the box, and you can customize both.
Fit your existing stack
OpenTelemetry and Prometheus support send telemetry to the tools you already use.
Optimize performance
A Query Editor and visual ERD Designer help you profile queries and model schemas.
Stay secure and compliant
Single sign-on through your identity provider, role-based access control and a full audit log.
Automate it: MariaDB Enterprise Kubernetes Operator
Run MariaDB on Kubernetes the way you’d run any other cloud-native workload
The Operator provisions and operates MariaDB Enterprise Server, MaxScale and Galera Cluster inside Kubernetes. It’s certified by Red Hat and validated with OpenShift.

Automate the full lifecycle
High availability, zero-downtime rolling upgrades and backup and restore schedules are handled declaratively, which means less manual effort and fewer errors.
Restore to the moment you choose
Point-in-time restore recovers your database to just before a bad migration or accidental change, with no recovery scripts to maintain.
Protect against site outages
Operator-managed replication between Kubernetes clusters guards against the loss of a whole site.
Compliance
Built for regulated environments
FIPS 140-3 mode for the Enterprise Kubernetes Operator is built on NIST-validated cryptographic modules. There are no separate images to build or maintain: the same images run in standard or FIPS mode, and one Operator setting switches between them. Strict TLS enforcement and customizable certificates add to your security posture.
Federal agencies, defense contractors, financial institutions and the compliance teams that serve them need validated cryptography. For many of them, a database without it is a non-starter.
FedRAMP and similar authorizations apply to a customer’s entire system, of which the database is one part.
Keep data available and consistent across sites
Conflict detection & resolution
If your applications write at multiple sites, CD&R detects row conflicts and applies the resolution rules you define, such as “latest update wins.” Replication keeps moving and manual cleanup goes down, all within your existing multi-primary architecture.
External replication management
When the cluster you replicate from fails over, MaxScale’s MariaDB Monitor can automatically repoint your local primary to the right server. That’s one less script to write.
Raft Cluster
Raft Cluster commits writes once a majority of nodes agree rather than waiting on the slowest or most distant node. It complements Galera, for tightly coupled, lower-latency clusters.
Why self-managed with MariaDB
One vendor, the whole stack
Server, proxy, management and Kubernetes automation are built by the same engineers and supported together.
Native beats bolted-on
Tools built for MariaDB provide features generic tools miss, with a shorter learning curve.
No lock-in to where you run
Bare metal, VMs, Kubernetes, private cloud or customer-managed public cloud, on your timeline.
