Get started

MariaDB Enterprise Platform is built for operational, transactional workloads: the applications that run your business day to day. It handles high concurrency, mixed read and write traffic, and mission-critical uptime.

Yes. MariaDB was built by the original authors of MySQL and maintains high compatibility, so most applications, drivers and tools work with little or no change. Migrating from MySQL is usually straightforward.

Galera Cluster runs active-active nodes with synchronous replication. If a node fails, the others keep serving traffic and the cluster repairs itself, so your application stays online without manual work.

MaxScale automatically splits traffic. Adding nodes increases read throughput without code changes, but writes cannot scale because all nodes still write the same data in the background.

MariaDB offers comparable reliability and scale, with multi-master clustering like Oracle RAC. Because it is open source and runs on commodity hardware with no specialized storage, most teams run it for far less.

Anywhere. Deploy on premises, in any public cloud or across hybrid setups. The Kubernetes Operator provisions and manages clustered MariaDB with declarative config, handling failover and recovery across environments.
